Ashford Records was owned my Jack Ashford. The label design was white background with large green 'A'. The labels address was 6097 Whitewood, Detroit, Michigan. 48210 . The back-up singers on "Love You Baby" were The Ebonies (Lorraine Chandler, Emma Nebbins and Effie Ellington). The intrumental flip was credited to Billy Sha-Rae's Soul Congress band, which included James Pavlock (guitar), Al Gordon (Drum) and Jacl Ashford (piano). Tambourines were overdubbed onto the instrumental. Yellow highlight indicates Northern Soul play. | |||
