LA BEAT
La Beat Records was owned by Lou Beatty and based at 6072, 14th Street, Detroit. The label ran from 1966-1968. Al Williams was also issued on Palmer 5011. The label design was red background and black lettering (6602, 6604) and silver lettering (6605-6609, 6701 & 6705.) P6504 was also issued on a orange label. On the majority of the releases depicted two drums and drum sticks. Some copies of 6701 are credited to the L.P.T's but the single plays as the Masqueraders. L.P.T stood for LaBeat Production Team.
