The label started in 1973 with a mainly orange label with the odd
pale blue release. Changed to a 3d view of Detroit in 1978 with new
numbering. 301 white label, 302 came out 3 times with alt mix's
(orange/red labels) and a possble cancelled alt. gospel artist
release. The address in 1978 was 18075 Grand River, Detroit,
Mitchigan, 482223. In 1980 the Detroit address was replaced with
'Made in USA'. Carol Anderson and The Flaming Emeralds had singles released at the time on UK Grapevine. Northern Soul plays in yellow. |
